Why the DNC’s Free Abortions & Vasectomies Should Terrify Us All

This week, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) is hosting its quadrennial convention in Chicago, Illinois. Typically, attendees at such events walk away with bags full of free swag—pens, stickers, buttons, the usual. But this year? This year, you can also walk away with a free abortion or vasectomy. Yes, you read that right.

Free. Abortions. And. Vasectomies.

It’s almost too unbelievable to be true, but alas, it is. Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in the United States, has rolled out its mobile abortion clinic—a bus designed to snuff out human life on the go—right ahead of the convention. Remember when abortion was supposed to be "safe, legal, and rare"? Now, it seems we're living in an era where it’s "unsafe, ghastly, and celebrated." Welcome to the culture of death and sterilization.

But wait, there's more! If ending a pregnancy isn’t your style, you can always opt for a vasectomy, also at no cost. Because what’s more fitting than sterilizing yourself right next to a famous hot dog stand called "The Wiener’s Circle"? The irony is so thick, you could slice it with a scalpel.

Now, I’m not saying a vasectomy isn’t preferable to an abortion. It certainly is. But this circus act speaks to a much deeper issue within the Democratic Party. This isn’t just about choice. This is about a party that seems to loathe babies and children. It’s a culture that elevates selfishness above the value of family, a culture that seems to celebrate the idea of wiping out future generations in the name of convenience.

Let’s talk about Kamala Harris and Tim Walz for a moment. These aren’t just your garden-variety “pro-choice” politicians. No, they are actively "pro-abortion" with a level of enthusiasm that is frankly chilling. Their agenda isn’t just hidden between the lines; it’s shouted from the rooftops.

Take Harris’s recent visit to a Planned Parenthood clinic in Minnesota, where she proudly proclaimed, “I’m here at this health care clinic to uplift the work that is happening in Minnesota as an example of what true leadership looks like.” True leadership? Just months earlier, Tim Walz, the governor of the same state, signed a law allowing abortion for any reason, right up until the day of birth. This is what they’re celebrating.

These are the people who want to lead this country. They celebrate death. They value sterilization. They detest the very idea of families. And don’t forget, this is the same party that once ‘booed’ God at their own convention a dozen years ago.

Here’s what truly terrifies me. The Bible reserves its harshest words for those who harm or exploit children. In the book of Ezekiel, chapter 16, God is angered with His people for worshiping other gods and sacrificing their children to these false idols. He warns them that if they continue, they’ll face destruction at the hands of foreign nations—and that’s exactly what happened. Jerusalem fell, the temple was destroyed, and the Israelites were taken into captivity. That was in 586 BC. How much longer will God allow America to remain a free nation if we continue down this path? Are we inviting His judgment upon our land because we’ve become too wicked?

Even Jesus, who is often seen as the embodiment of love and peace, had a stern warning for those who would harm a child. He said that anyone who causes a child to sin would be better off being drowned in the sea (Mark 9, Matthew 18). I shudder to think what He would say to someone who dismembers an innocent child in the womb. Lord, have mercy on us.

The situation is utterly insane, and yet people still struggle to decide which side to take. On one side, you have those who want to limit abortion, to protect the innocent. On the other, you have a party that not only supports abortion but seems to revel in it. One side values children and family, while the other despises both. One side offers free abortions and vasectomies; the other offers counseling and pregnancy resource centers. One side celebrates death and the other celebrates life.

So, I ask you, whose side are you on?
