This IS all disappointing and nasty and horrible. What is also a little surprising to me is that folks … I’m sorry, not to be rude, but those like you who supported the election of our current administration really honestly did not see this coming?? I definitely did. I don’t think it was that difficult and now here we are. Or are you saying this doesn’t rise to the level that would have changed your mind about your vote? I do realize our choices were painfully limited or even nonexistent. But I absolutely was talking about this very thing that the necessity of a massive coverup was coming … and just wait until someone actually begins to address the realities of the Panama Papers. Just because Americans are patently ignorant doesn’t mean they will stay that way forever. There are actually other powers that be. Hang on to your hats folks.

Laurie, I appreciate your comment. Yes, I supported the election of the current administration—largely because they campaigned on draining the swamp and exposing corruption, including the Epstein case. It’s frustrating to now watch them backtrack on those promises.

Was the alternative—Harris/Walz—going to address this kind of corruption? Highly unlikely. So yes, the choices were limited. But I don’t blindly follow any political figure or party. If this trend continues, it will absolutely impact how I vote next time.
